I Feared UNTIL……!!!
I feared being alone
Until I learned to like Myself.
I feared failure
Until I realized that I only Fail when I don't try.
I feared success
Until I realized that I had to try in order to be happy with myself.
************************************************************
I feared people's opinions
Until I learned that people would have opinions about me anyway.
I feared rejection
Until I learned to have faith in myself.
I feared pain
Until I learned that it's necessary for growth
****************************************************************
I feared the truth
Until I saw the ugliness in lies.
I feared life
Until I experienced its beauty .
I feared death
Until I realized that it's not an end, but a beginning.
****************************************************************
I feared my destiny,
Until I realized that I had the power to change my life.
I feared hate
Until I saw that it was nothing more than ignorance.
I feared love
Until it touched my heart, making the darkness fade into endless sunny days.
****************************************************************
I feared ridicule
Until I learned how to laugh at myself.
I feared growing old
Until I realized that I gained wisdom every day.
I feared the future
Until I realized that Life just kept getting better.
I feared the past
Until I realized that It could no longer hurt me.
*****************************************
I feared the dark
Until I saw the beauty of the starlight.
I feared the light
Until I learned that the Truth would give me Strength.
I feared change,
Until I saw that even the most beautiful butterfly had to undergo a Metamorphosis before it could fly.

Swami Vivekananda's stunning words
When I Asked God for Strength
He Gave Me Difficult Situations to Face
When I Asked God for Brain & Brown
He Gave Me Puzzles in life to Solve
When I Asked God for Happiness
He Showed Me Some Unhappy People
When I Asked God for Wealth
He Showed Me How to Work Hard
When I Asked God for Favors
He Showed Me opportunities to Work Hard
When I Asked God for Peace
He Showed Me How to Help Others
God Gave Me Nothing I Wanted
He Gave Me Everything I Needed
Incredible indeed !!!

Pursuit of success !!!
In your pursuit for success, every day you become more aware of your abilities and recognize that opportunities to stretch your capabilities are limitless.
You desire change, growth, and challenge, and a healthy self-esteem provides the energy.
You learn to have more than goals, and have a vision of what your life will mean to youself and others.
You do not live in the future. Instead you make sure each step taken in the present keeps you on the road toward your life goal.
Most of the time you learn to say these things:I am motivated and have a mission with realistic and measurable goals.
I accept complete responsibility for everything I think, say, feel, and do.I look for the window of opportunity in every situation and know that I will learn from every experience if I choose.
I always help others to do their best, and I encourage everyone to contribute something.
I correct my course when I reach an obstacle. This way, when things go wrong, I am still headed in the right direction.
I expect and appreciate change. It does not overwhelm me because I am prepared.
I stand up for my own opinions and values and respect others.
I am able to manage myself. I do not require instruction every step of the way.
I am not afraid of making mistakes or of taking reasonable risks.I am my own coach.
I engage in positive self-talk and rehearsal.I am a life-long student.
I am always ready to learn, and I know growth takes sustained effort.
I know myself well and still expect to find hidden talents, resources, strengths, weaknesses, energy, and interests.
I respect reality both pleasant and painful.I engage in self-confrontation and do not blame others.
I readily forgive others and myself and correct mistakes when possible.I am patient, kind, gentle, and compassionate with myself.
I have no need to prove I am better or worse than anybody else.
Do you have such a vision statement that you can recite each day towards achieving success?

What is this Life?

Leisure
WHAT is this life if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare?—
No time to stand beneath the boughs,And stare as long as sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see, in broad daylight,Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth canEnrich that smile her eyes began?
A poor life this if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.

Friendship & love quotes
Let me share a few quotes of love and friendship with you...
"True friendship, unlike love, always lasts forever."
"Love is blind, but friendship closes its eyes."
"Love is like a photo negative, it needs darkness to develop."
"Friends are like poems, you may never fully understand them, but you will always love them."
"As love feels through the heart, friendship sees through the eyes"
"The best gift in life is knowing that we have someone who loves us unconditionally and that’s our friend”
"Happiness comes from the ones i love, but its strength that comes from the ones who love me"
"Friends like quilts... give comfort when needed"
Isn't love and friendship closely related?

love
Today I want to write something about love.
I remember once in school our Catechism teacher asked us to define ‘love’. The answers given by the students were kindness, sharing, etc. The answer I gave was ‘Love is sacrifice’. At that time my mother’s love came to my mind. But now if you ask me ‘what is love’ I would say ‘It is feeling that binds two individuals’. If you give it to others you get it back. 'Sacrifice’ is ‘deep love’. These days we have too many people to love - our friends, relatives and well wishers, and time is so important to us. So isn't it better to define love as 'the time you spend for another person'.

Children
Today I was thinking of Rachel (my daughter who is two and a half years old). She talks a lot to anyone she likes. She also asks a lots of questions. I was just thinking what makes her talk so much. A lot of reasons came to my mind. Is it because someone inspired her? What inspires her? One thing is clear, she understands things very fast and if there is someone to listen to her she keeps on talking and asking questions. To strangers she talks only after getting to know the person. She needs some time to get to know a new person.
Children - They are innocent. They have nothing in their mind. They have no second thoughts. No thinking of the past. They believe that what they do is right (but I don’t know if she’s stubborn at times when she wants her way).

Everyday is a new day for them. They are always happy, free from tensions. Its good to be like them. I wish we were always like children, always smiling, always happy - To be happy and make others happy.
